Update:
Jewel plans to go back on tour
early. After breaking her colarbone and brusing ribs, she canceled many tours (see below). She is expected to
resume May 13 in Stuttgart, Germany. She will not be able to play guitar.

Jewel broke her collarbone and a rib when she
was thrown from a horse at her boyfriend Ty Murray's ranch Wednesday. She was staying with him at his ranch
near Ft. Worth, Texas, enjoying a five-day reprieve from a promotional tour, according to an Atlantic Records spokesperson.
She was taken to a medical center and began to undergoing treatment for the fractures and bruising. She is not
allowed to play her guitar or perform for a month and is not permitted to travel yet. She will have canceled her upcomming
tours and will affect her first dates of her European tour.
